KORA
From local needs to lasting solutions

Local relations
Trust is built through presence and dialogue. We collaborate with local contacts and professionals who know the everyday life and can help anchor the work.

Need comes first
A good project starts with understanding people, surroundings and existing resources. That's why we listen and assess the need before developing a solution.

Value that can live on
We work for solutions that strengthen local skills, production and employment. The goal is that the projects can be operated, developed and create value locally over time.
A concrete project with local potential
Cooling and storage facilities in Gambia
One of the first projects KORA is engaging in is the development of refrigeration and storage facilities for agricultural products in The Gambia.
Better storage can reduce waste, extend the shelf life of goods and create better conditions for local producers and traders.
The project brings together several of KORA's focus areas: agriculture, construction, infrastructure, employment and trade. Our role is to bring together local actors, professional knowledge, partnerships and resources around a realistic path from idea to operation.
